| Walking & Cycling
There are several very pleasant local walks through farmland and woodland
and there is a delightful cycle route along the north shore of the Beauly
Firth. Ben Wyvis (3433 ft) and Strathglass offer excellent hillwalking
within easy reach.
Wildlife
In summer there is usually a colony of seals with their young on the
sand flats in the Beauly Firth close to Tarradale House. Red Kites frequently
fly overhead and dolphins can be seen at North Kessock and Chanonry
Point, Fortrose.
